Objectives of the position

As part of its large-scale deployment strategy, vorteX.io is actively seeking partnerships and projects. As the person in charge of corporate relations and partnerships, he/she will design and promote a partnership/communication/promotion strategy between vorteX.io and the various players in the ecosystem (governments, ministries, water agencies, unions, metropolises, companies), together with the company’s co-founders. The challenge of this position is to establish and consolidate relationships with existing partners and prospects and to prospect for new ones in France and abroad.

Know-how & skills:

• Understand the issues involved in water management, particularly hydrological monitoring. This implies being familiar with the actors in this field (DDTM, DREAL, DGPR, basin syndicates, EPTB, water agencies, SDIS, CCI, regional and departmental councils), but also with the existing partnerships, tensions and power relations.
• Be familiar with the regulatory literature in hydrology and crisis management. The person in charge is expected to know the legal and preventive documents of the hydrological sector (Gemapi, PAPI, PGRI, PPRi, DICRIM, EAIP, EPRI, SAGE) and of crisis management (PCS, ORSEC, SNGRI, SLGRI, etc.)
• Flood risk zoning must also be mastered: TRI, AZI, ZEC, etc.
